Changing Treble Hooks

There are some lures that I almost always change out the treble hooks. Recently, I was all out of new treble hooks so I was lazy and left my new Devils Horse with the original hooks. Mistake! After a few fish, the original hooks became a tangled mess. I had to keep bending them back into shape after each hook up.

That got me thinking, what lures do you always charge the original hooks out and what's your favorite treble hooks to use?

I always change out the trebles and split rings of my lures. Most of the time,  I also swap them with a hook that's  one size larger. I use either Mustad or Gamakatsu hooks.

almost never.  my baits come with great sticky hooks. 

when they bend, I switch.

I am somewhat different than a lot of people. I will take the crankbait stock and fish with it first if it gets bit more than twice I will change the hardware. Mostly I use Owner or Vmc hooks. Too many times we buy a bait that doesn't move right or just doesn't get bit.Hooks and hardware just costs so much why changeover on a dud bait.
