Conditions:
Water temps: 78-82
Water clarity: slightly stained
Wind: East 10-12
Skies: Partly cloudy
Fishng time: 0715-245pm
Bass boated: 46
Top 5: 14lbs 13oz

I was scheduled for a guide trip today, but unfortunately, they had to cancel. :(
So I went fishing instead. Launched as the sun was rising. Made a pretty long run, and was fishing around 0715.

There was a lot of activity on the water, but I didn't catch one bass the first hour. I threw everything at them.
Finally, I came across an offering they couldn't refuse, and the bites started.
First nice bass of the outing, I caught when I thought it was a tilapia swimming around. Well,  it wasn't a tilapia. It was a nice 4lbr hanging out shallow.

Continued to catch nice bass, until about 11:30. The bite really slowed down.

I ate lunch, took a break. Yeah, can you believe that. Me, taking a break! Lol!!

Shortly after lunch, I had 3.5lbr come off right at the boat! Doh!

Then, after that, I jumped a 5-6lbr too! And didn't land it either!! Double doh!

Fished the rest of the afternoon catching decent bass here and there.

Wrapped up around 2:30 or so. Ended boating 46 bass. Not too shabby.

Thanks for reading!
