Carolina rig weights

I need recommendations on a good weight to use on a Carolina rig that's pretty snag proof.  Fishing some Rocky stuff.

People used to call the Lindy's no snag weight a snake weight. I could slither through the rocks.

How sensitive are they??

Yes Donald, them be the critters. I don't know how sensitive they are, the Docs won't ell me, patient/client privilege. Actually they should be as sensitive as any other weight, you can feel the rocks and bottom but they don't hang up.

I find the best sinker for feeling the bottom is a plain old barrel sinker. from 1/2oz to 1 1/2.  For years I used heavy bullet weights but the barrel makes it easier to feel shell bars, soft bottoms, etc.  It does hang up worse though and seems to me the weights that hang less would also give less feedback as to bottom type.
