Fished 3 days with my buddy John, 2 days were decent but day 3 not so much. We had 10-15 keepers the first two days and 4 the last all on spinner baits and plastic. War Eagle finesse in whites and Zoom lizards and UV speed worms worked the best for us although we tried multiple other baits we could bet nothing else to work. Water was at a normal level, river was clearer than the creeks and backwaters with visibility of 1-2' in the creeks and 3-4' in the main river. Water temps ranged from 78-81 with air temps form the mid 50's at daylight to upper 80's in the afternoon with clear skies and light winds. No big fish this trip, several 3's and the rest  from 1.5-2.5 pounds and only a couple of spots in the mix but still we had a good time on the water.
Retired and loving every minute of it!
