Greetings,

I went and picked up my Stratos this morning from Marine Outlet.  I took the boat in for repairs on 19 Dec 15 and today its back home all repairs complete.  I had the Lower Unit replaced; Fiberglass repairs done from dock damage; Trailer upgrades to include Oil Bath Hubs, new Trailer Lights and Rear Roller replaced.  Below are the fiberglass before and after pics. Tks Jim,  It was a little wait for the Lower Unit to get in and the fiberglass shop got behind a couple days but I'm happy with the work.  I got to take the time to break that lower unit in now.

Tks guys for the comments.  Yep I'm ready to hit the lake with her.  I got to break the Lower Unit in now according to this document I got.  I've never heard of having to break a lower unit in before.  Have any of youns heard of this before?

Here's what the instructions say:

First 5 Hours:
Start with low RPMs
Slowly increase until you hit 3500 RPMs at the 5 hour mark
DO NOT exceed 75% throttle
Shift into forward & reverse a minimum of 10 times

5 - 10 Hours
Short bursts of full throttle then throttling back to no more than 75% of full throttle

10 - 20 Hours
Change the gear lube between 10 - 20 hours
After 10 hours, normal operation can resume
