coldfront

Summer's here.  Water temps are right at 85° everywhere I looked today.  Air temps were cooler most of morning, up to 87°F by 4:30PM when I trailered the tincan.
TVA was running current today.   a little over 30K cfs.  Not a lot of other boats out today.  Very rare 'quiet' day.  Day started off with overcast and very little wind (out of the north).  about 10-11AM the clouds started breaking up and we went to partly cloudy/mostly sunny.

Most folks would be using electronics and scoping schools on off-shore ledges.  I suck at that so I stuck with what I know:  staying in bays/cuts and fishing shallow cover.

Most of the fish today were 15 - 16 inches.  saw a couple larger.  Got one 20 inch fish in the boat.  water clarity was slightly stained (rained last night).  Most of my fish today were on wood.Lots of pitching and skipping were the ticket today.
