NEW to New Jersey (south shore) in need of help

Hello all. Found this site this morning and it is great. I just moved to the south Jersey shore (in Whiting). I have been fishing for 50 plus years, both as a tournament freshwater bass fisherman (in RI years ago) and a saltwater striper fisherman for most of my life. I moved to Vero Beach Florida 7 years ago TO FISH. Had a blast, caught more species of fish than I ever thought but ultimately couldn't take the heat anymore and 3 weeks ago bought a home in Whiting NJ to be back closer to family after a heart attack last year when I sold my boat and came here.

I am looking to connect with someone that can help me learn the area for chasing bass both fresh and saltwater. I would be willing to fund my share of expenses and have all my own equipment. I was a writer for the New England fisherman years ago and am knowledgable in most all aspects of fishing including have finished in many top positions in the BASS circuit in my younger days. If there is someone out there that can help a jerk at one end of the rod looking for a jerk at the other end.........please reach out to me. You don't have to babysit me. Just looking to meet some friends.

I'm not really familiar with your area as far has bass clubs go.  I know down here in Texas (Belton, Temple area) the marine dealership have bass clubs / tournament circuits they sponsor.  You might check with the local Marine Dealerships that are in and around your place.

I made a google search and found these links.  Good luck in getting involved in a club.  Hopefully one of the 3 sites listed below will be able to point you in the right direction.
