New Sub-species of Spotted Bass???

Well, probably not, but I've never seen a bass so "white"-



Caught 'em pretty good on Truman Lake today, and as an extra, this was my first-ever bass on an A-rig. Don't tell me I'm not cutting edge.

I've caught a few bass with the same coloring as yours before.  The ones I caught came  during the Winter Time and early Spring.   I've caught them from the Oxbows off the Mississippi River, lakes in Kentucky, Louisiana and here on Belton, Lake.

Congrats on the catching and tks for sharing the pictures with us also.

Quite a few of ours are pale like that when we catch deep winter bass on drop shot, blades or spoons.  Usually in the 40-50 depth they are all that color...

I've caught plenty of "white" black bass. From deep water and muddy water, but never like this one. His mouth was translucent. Really cool, but a little weird.

True, it's like from the gills forward it does look really different....
