Crazy stuff today. Bringing in a 13 incher and my uvibe slides up the line. Out of nowhere a four or five pounder starts attacking the you Vibe trying to eat it so I've got to fish twirling around with each other. He keeps trying for about 5 to 8 Seconds and then I bring in the little one. I immediately grab my spinning outfit that always has a fluke on it and try and see if I can get that bigger fish but no luck oh. Craziest thing I've ever seen

The weirdest thing I have done is catch a decent fish by a foul treble hook.. in the tail!! It was an insane fight!

FYI for those of you that have Bump boards. If by any chance you decide to dunk the bump board to cool it off before measuring a fish and find that part of it slides off in the water. Just know that, that piece will sink. Ask me how I know. ~xyz ~rant I swore that it would float, but it does not. I have a new bump board on the way. >:(

Rains move in and chased everyone off the water.
One guy was telling me he was fishing behind the pads up near the bank and casting back into the pads. He caught one about 3+ and lost a better one.
He kept the 3+ and said it was full of eggs.
Didn't really think they'd be still on by this time.

The rains ran us out of work at lunchtime so I got home early enough to get in a few hours. I played with schoolies until I got a limit and then went pig hunting. Found a nice thick 5 pounder after an hour or so.

FD is the issue you are having that you don't have anything to click when you select your picture?
I noticed on my phone this issue. Turns out if you look closely on the right bottom corner, the word DONE is almost the same color as the background. Making it nearly impossible to see. If you select the pic and click on the right bottom corner it will give the option of what size pic you want as usual.

though I've flip flopped back and forth Android is just a better OS. Problem with android is all the companies that add their bloatware they the phones.

We went out and fished some flats today with Adopt A Cop. It was my first time fishing salt not from a pier or shore. Had a great time catching reds and trout! Had two boats and 7 people, just a great time. I was using bass gear. I mean it is just like bass fishing, Abu insore bait caster on St Croix rods and braid. Very simalr to bass but a harder pull and less head shake. Just a great time!

Well I was going to do a report.. but I'm lazy lol.
I launched from Coleman's landing where we are RVing (aka beside Grape Hammock).

Took the little boat down to the bridge and back and caught fish while pretty much junk fishing and avoiding gators everywhere lol. I saw probably 10 - 15 or so, which it is nesting season soon.
The first and biggest fish came on a buzz bait I got discounted somewhere a while back and found recently! It caught one fish lol and was toast.

I then tried a spoon, a spinner bait then a fluke with no luck. :-/
I swapped to flipping thick patches of anything different as the sun was hot! First stop yielded a smaller bass then an isolated mat floating alone yielded the 2nd chunk.
I picked up two more on a u-vibe and called it a day!

I fished out of South Bay on Okeechobee today. Caught 15-20 fish, mostly in the 12-13" range. Only two culls and lost a decent one at the boat.. 20"+ :-(
I trolled from South Bay county ramp all the way past that lock and into the two cuts on the right. Took a while to get there but it was worth it. Most the fish werr caight back far in the cuts near reeds. I found some clean water with a certain vegetation nearby and landed quite a few fish in that spot, fished away and back and got some more there. I also picked up random "local" fish off areas and pockets that would have a resident hanging out. It got blazing hot by 11so I slowly made my way back, stopping and fishing a few spots along the way, including actual South Bay near the ramp. Caught a super dark bass in there and lost a chunk by the sunken boat :-(

How's everyone been? Just got back from a two month long mission. But my son wanted to go fishing today. We bank hopped Lox Wildlife Refuge (off of Lee Rd), Lake Osbourne and Okeeheelee Park. Caught a few bass but here's the weird part, all of them, from all three places didn't look healthy at all. The only way, as crude as it sounds, to describe them was they looked like chemotherapy patients. Has anyone else had this happen lately? I sent my reports to FWC already.

Caught 4 on sungill fluke again. They don't seem to want baby bass. Tried a few other baits too and nothing.
Not much size to them. Biggest was 14.5"

Rick, it looks like the fluke bite has been pretty good for you lately. I've never tried the sungill color. Ill have to look that one up. I've been using a bluegill type color that I bought a ton of last year at Bridgmasters.

I am not sure if you guys are familiar with the YouTube anglers Matt and Tim from Tactical Bassing. Matt got into a terrible highway accident while towing their boat. Some lady in a camper smashed into Matt's vehicle. Matt's family is fine but the lady didn't make it. I can't imagine replacing a truck, boat and trailer

I think I am going to try again this weekend. Have to make sure to wake up early and get to the lake before the sun is up.
Once it starts to bake, the bite is dead. Hopefully it will be cooler with the predicted rainfall

I'm done for June. Caught a few this morning before the thunderstorms ran me off the water but no culls. Threw a buzz bait and chaterbait trying to entice the bigger gals but biggest was 18in.
