Boom!now I can order my electric connectors.  I may still move the battery tho. Need some on water action.

@caddyjoe77 that is the Newport Vessels NK180.

sadly, I am too busy to take it for a spin.  maybe next week.  but it will rain. 

I am anxious about the battery.  it is only 24 lbs, but I want to put it somewhere it optimizes the balance of the kayak.

it was surprisingly less expensive than the battery!!!  I paid $725 for the motor.  not bad.  I went in blind and when I shopped batteries I was shocked.  if I had done my homework, I might have skipped the motor.  hahahha..  my system is still a tad cheaper than the Torqueedo version, and if my math is correct I should have better range/distance.
