I'm on the board for March. I took a long shot and tried a new marina location on the California Delta.  I was lost, and clueless.   It took me 6 hours to figure out anything. I got several bass!   NO SKUNK!  It was awesome.  I fished maybe 9 hours, so hardly worth it - on paper, at least.  But I had a blast. I'm fishing my cracked kayak while I wait for my replacement to show up.  Very liberating to worry ZERO about my boat. I was dragging hard parts to hard stuff.  Weeeeee!

Fish are staging for something. They were all found on the outside of the weed trench. 

I think 3 more weeks of warm weather and longer days should flip switches.  Move the needle towards spawn.
NOTE TO SELF;   Girl Scout cookies should never be the single food item on a kayak.  It was so gross.  I'll never eat another one again. Ever.....

Congrats on the catching there and tks for sharing the trip with us also.   You have to eat what you PACK in the boat buddy     I remember the days of eating Vienna Sausages and crackers
