Millcreek Bass Fishing Reports

Went to a new lake for us Sat. morning 6/3/06.
The water is very clear for Ill. and was 75 for a temp. with lots of weeds.
So we fished the weed line all morning We never found the keepers,12 to 15 slot,but did find a pattern catchin 6 slot fish and a few dinks,fishing green Kreture baits (Yamamoto) and green power worms,t-riged with 1/32 oz weights.We found the fish to be hanging on the shore side of the weed line next to deep (at least 15 feet)water.
If you have a smaller boat like us get their early (Gate house opens at 5:00 am with a 13.00 launch fee)
we left at 10.00 due to the boat traffic,this is a narrow lake and the water skiers will give you a ride^^^^^^^^^^^^^.
