I'd like to cull the 9.75 fish for this 16.5:


Not bad for half an hour. Would have liked a longer session but some jack hole decided to let his unruly off leash dogs swim throughout all the ponds in this little area.
I believe that makes my total 66 flat.

Nice cull and I hate it when them dog owners let their dogs do stuff like that after he knows your fishing in that pond.

Me too Steve on Wed and Thursday it's going ot be in the 60's and close to 70* and overcast so I done told the Mrs I'm going fishing bot of them days. I will stay out as long as my body can stand it. Hope I can finds some fish that want to bite in this cold water so I can get some fish on the board here.

We've gone back to on and off storms again here, don't know when I'll be able to get back out. Problem is mostly the wind, which will remain even between storms. 50mph+ gusts. I got caught out in 45mph wind last week in the kayak and it wasn't fun lol. Thank god the launching point was downwind!
They're saying it's supposed to be like this through next week. Hopefully they'll be wrong. Daytime temps have been great, but night time temps still down near freezing. We need those lows to come up to kick off prespawn. Water temp was still around 44 yesterday, and that was a small shallow pond. My "main" pond is bigger and deeper and is usually even slower to warm.

It looks like the weather is going to be like the weather folks said for the next two days so I'm going fishing tomorrow and the next day to see if I can't find some fish that have unthawed and want to bite. So hope I have a few to enter over the next couple of days. Hope I can figure out how to get them to be still long enough for me to get a

OK it looks like the weather is holding so I'm going to be getting out tomorrow after the morning rush traffic is over and see if I can't find some hungry fish to bite. If so I hope I can land them and get a good  of them. I will be going out the next day also since it's going to be above 60*

You are probably right on that one. I'm going to wear me Vet hat just in case so they will know not to mess with me.
