I got to the lake at 5:30 am, and third cast….

This is my secret lake.  Bonus, I got to test 4x4 in my new truck.

I launched at the wrong end of the lake.  When I eased out in the dim light, I didn't realized it was socked in with grass.  But I flung a creature bait into and opening and GULP!  I had to fight it out of the grass.  So much fun. I didn't get many fish, but I got the right fish.  Most ere 4.5lbs.  My dink was a 3. 

Here is #1.  Next time I'll launch at the other end and fish submerged stumps. I thought about pedaling to the other end, but todays forecast indicated 110 deg s.  Nope. I didn't want to die coming back 7 miles. I did fine.
