OMG! I thought I went Frankenstein in the off season but I bow to you MASTER!! My cousin has been on me about using an umbrella rig. I told him to use it while the water is cold when we went to Norman last Thursday.

5 casts and he was rubbing his arm. Next cast he hooked a tree pounder and actually got it loose. I should have told him 2" grubs or smaller. He had 5 KVD 4" swim baits!

I feel bad so I'll bring him some small grubs to make up for my slackness!

Neat. I'll bet you'll be happier yet if you go to ball bearing swivels.

Those are very cool!  ~c~ ~c~ ~c~  Reminds me of some of the old time lures that used to be around like the Shannon Twin Spins, only you're taking that a bit further.  lo

I try to use ball bearing swivels on most lures but will use some crane swivels too and like you, have not really had any issue with them not spinning.

Keep us informed on the fish you catch with them!  ~gf ;D

Old Fishermen never die, their rods just go limp.
