You should never save passwords in browsers. It's not secure, but as you've learned, you never memorize them when you don't have to. Have strong password, then have it tatooed to on the bottom of a foot (yours or your wife's). You should get a cell phone. Buy a burner from Walmart. Everything requires a cell phone these days.

100% correct...I don't save my password on the computer at all.  I have a little pocket notebook I write all that stuff down.  Right now I have like 74 pages of information saved  ~shade   When I go out of town I take my little book with me.

I have a lot of information saved in my NOTES on my Cell Phone but there aren't any Passwords there.

Brother, I don't see how you get by without having a cell phone.  You really need to get one  ~shade

I use frozen water bottles the 16.9oz size.  I carry maybe 6-8 in the boat with me.  The tournaments I've fished here are only last like 4hours. When fish get added I'll add another bottle to the livewell.

I also use 'Sure-Life Release Me' a 10oz bottle will treat 500gal.  I don't add this till I start adding fish to the livewell.

Like Nutoy mentioned here in Texas it doesn't take long for the livewells water to heat up during the Summer Months.   We got to protect our catch.

Got out yesterday for some casting practice, fished from 10 to 6 and had hoped the tide would fall out as it was forecast but the combination of high river and SE winds at 10+ only let it fall about 6". River stage was 4' below flood so all the waters were fairly stained but did find some decent water further south but the only bites I got was from 2 red fish both 17" long. Did catch 1 small keeper bass late on baby brush hog so I avoided the skunk. Clear skies all day, air temp mid 80's and water temps from 80-86 degrees.

Good afternoon to all,

Cloudy skies with a tornado warning in place for across Central Texas till 8pm tonight.  Our forecasted temps for today are 74-89dgrs with 63%humidity with a SE wind @ 15mphs.  It's one of those Texas late Spring Days here  ~shade

Busy morning here.  I had multiple medical appointment at the VA Hospital.  I had breakfast there first thing this morning.  I enjoyed the biscuits, gravy, hash browns with crispy bacon, fried eggs and a diet Mtn Dew  :food

My first appointment was with Urology which didn't go well.  My PSI numbers have doubled since my last visit 2 yrs ago.  They told me my prostate was inflamed and they can't figure out why.  They're going to run a series of test and check things out.  My meds I take for my kidney disease can cause the Prostate reading to be high.  So I got a couple appointments next month for MRI's and other test to check things out ???

My second appointment was to setup a Colonoscopy.  The next available appointment to have this procedure performed is 25 Mar 2025.  So I got almost a whole year to look forward to this procedure happening.   Lots of time to change my mind if I decide too  ;)

There is nothing else planned for the rest of the day.  I'm going to tinker around on the computer  for a bit and then hit the recliner.

Bud; Tks for stopping in and sharing the day with us.  Getting the Ranger all cleaned up for the next river trip.  You going to be fishing any during that outing?

To everyone enjoy the day today.  Hope your evening is a relaxing and pleasant one.  Y'all be safe in your travels if you have to be out and about.

2. Follow the ground from the battery. Should have 2 cables, one directly to the gas motor. The other probably goes to a buss bar where other grounds can attach to it. Remember fiberglass boats don't have a metal frame, so everything has to ground back to the battery.

Conditions:

Water temps: 85-90
Outside temps: 90's
Water clarity: slight stain
Current: very little
Skies: Clear in the a.m. to partly cloudy later in a.m.
Fishing time: 0630-12pm
Bass boated: 40

Had the opportunity to sneak out and do some fishing today. Arrived at the ramp before sunrise and made it to my spot as the sun was rising. I started with top water and, honestly, put it away fairly quickly. Nothing was happening. It was very still.

Made another run, changed to the fluke, and the clicker started moving. Switched back to top water,  nothing!! Went back to the fluke, and action picked up where I left off. Lol! Stayed with the fluke for the rest of the outing.

Managed to catch my PB!! For mudfish, though. Gotcha!  ~roflmao.

The bass were running small. Saw several nice bass, but they weren't having it. Managed to catch several bass in the 2lb range.

I was looking for an excuse to stay, but the bigger bass did not decide to play today.  :'(  I called the trip around noon. It was just too hot, for just catching little bass.  ~sweat  :surrender:

Thanks for reading!

I believe I like the coffee stir straw option the best as you can cut to length for different swim bait sizes ./ brands . I also would put a drop of Locktite Gel Super Glue on the outside of the plastic stray once you get it measured and inserted into the swim bait . The split ring (size #2 or #3) inserted on the hook ads a touch of weight and prevents the treble hook eye from gouging the swim bait ... I hope this helps - I definitely think the hook up and landing percentage go up in open water scenarios using a swim bait . If you have cover - then no , not a good technique - but compared to a open hook jig head , you can use different size treble hooks , and different size bullet weights to suit the conditions and size swim bait better (less expensive too !)
