The record cold ended after 3 days and it dropped the water temp from 75° to 67°! I expected zero from the fish and I was dead on. The only action was on the chartreuse trick worm and it was a quick tap then spit it out.

One hit on a 4" spook on a rip rap bank under a shade tree. The bass knocked a 4" spook a foot straight up but no hook up. I threw a trick worm right back and got another hit and spit strike. We tried most every structure in 20ft or less.

Sorry guys for the weak report! Tomorrow or Sunday could fire up the bite if it stays warm.

We're having similar problems here in Louisiana, the water temps are stuck or falling and the water levels are high or rising even more... So much rain, all our lakes are flooded.

Only good thing about it, our spawn will be amazing this year, no one can beat them up on the beds. Heck you can't find a bed LOL
