If this has been covered Forgive me.

I have been playing with this for a few days and it works.
I'm not talking glue but nothing more than a lighter and cold water in the sink.

As a plastic worm wears don't bite the head off. Take an extended grill lighter and hold it just close enough so the head softens and flame up. Blow out the flame, hold the worm head up and let the plastic melt enough to repair the hole.

You can seal up the hook exit hole also. Hold the flame back enough so the plastic does not flame up, rotate the worm over the flame until the bait is getting soft. Remove the flame and hold it by the head and it seals from the outside.

The sink of cold water is two fold. Drop the lure in to set up, or use the water when you get plastic hot melt on your hand.

I can make a video if there is interest.
