You're the one who scares me dude. ;D Within a week of joining UB you shot up to second on the list. I'm afraid to see the numbers you post now that you've got a full month of catches ahead of you to enter. :o
It was a fluke, I promise :lookaround:
This ibass tourney has provided an extra motivation. I'm very competitive.
2 things:
1: plenty more fisherman available to rack up points now that spring has hopefully sprung everywhere
2: second place is just the first loser.
Actually, i guess that second one is just more motivation for me. Haha. Had I gotten a pic of a measurement of the 23.5 I caught hours prior to joining here, I'd be even closer. I work from home and make my own schedule. And I'm good at my job. Which means I often come up with free time if I so choose. So whatever is not filled in with physical therapy on my back (at only 31
) is filled in with fishing!
Lots of time on the water = more chances at lucking into a catch. Because I sure don't know what I'm doing. It's a numbers game for me. Haha

That is the key to a good showing on IBASS. That and a lake that holds enough good ones.
Congrats to all the winners. ~c~

Exactly! I fish more often and much harder targeting big fish just because I want to beat the crap out of y'all.
Winning this and the Florida contest against the serious sticks on this forum is much more rewarding than beating the local yokels around here in a normal tournament.
Plus I can't stand on a trolling motor for 8 hours strait anymore without serious pains for the next few days.
This format allows me to get my competitive "fix" without killing myself to do it.
Thanks to Zippy for doing the work to keep this rolling.
