My buddy Jim came in from out of town for some bass fishing around the islands yesterday.  It was a bumpy ride out in the morning but calmed down later.  Despite the muddy water we had a good day of smallmouth fishing.  Water temperature was running 51 degrees.

I have fished the Sandusky area a bunch.  Good smallmouth fishing.  My BIL had a boat docked at the Cedar Point Marina and would also fish around Putin Bay twenty years ago.  Congrats on a good trip. ~c~

Always a good experience out there.  You seem to catch something every time you go.  Muddy water or wind are usually the only things that can affect the bite.
