Title: Boken Bow 8/11/12
Post by: lasirs08 on August 15, 2012, 07:22:56 PM
We went Saturday and did fairly well. We caught enough for the grease. we caught around 25 most of which were small bass < 12" able to keep a few over 12" with the biggest around 3lbs the others around 1-1.5lbs. almost all were on "woops"y shad crank baits a few on football jigs with worm/creature baits. Caught 1 1.5lb smallmouth on the crankbit, even caught 4 bream on the crankbait. good day on the water over all.

It was a blast. We weren't use to the 50-100' water, we shut it down midrunning cause the depth finder said 1.5' but when we idled around we saw the 80 & 90' range pop up. Cross lake and the Red barely hit half that back home. I'm thinking it was mid to low 80's but I'm not positive. I've slept since then. lol!
