Personal Profile
Born Lansing Michigan June 25 1956 and raised in Kalamazoo Michigan, married for 18 years to my wife Barbara, father of a two kids and grandfather to five grandkids. I worked for the Kalamazoo public school for 13 years till they went to a privatized custodial school system. I then work in manufacturing for eight year at Koolant Koolers till I returned to custodial work with the Parchment Public Schools and A-I building services. I have been fishing for over fifty years, from the day I could hold a cane pole up right. I started out pan fishing with my father and grand father on the piers in Grand Haven, and off the banks of local lakes. This is a tradition I continue with my family as I strive to pass on the love of the outdoors to my kids and grandkids. Then about nine years ago I was invited to join in a club bass tournament by an old friend as his tournament fishing partner. Two years later he drop out of tournament fishing and I got a new partner and I have been a die hard bass tournament fishermen ever since. In my third year with the club I was elected as treasurer for my first term. For some reason the club's memberships drop and I was elected to take over as tournament director / president for the next three years. After our membership grew I cut back to tournament director / treasurer for the last three years. I fish a total of 16 tournaments every year, and chair regular club meeting during the winter months.
