Title: Upgrading Old Curados
Post by: huckleberry jesus on February 26, 2013, 10:32:43 PM
I have a CU200 (not super free) and a couple of 200HDVS Curados.  I was thinking about upgrading the bearings with ceramics.  Other than the spool bearings, what else needs to be upgraded.  Will the improved performance justify the costs?  I never used the 200HDVS reels much because i was never impressed with their performance.

I have a CU100B that I upgraded with the Boca Abec5 kit, Carbontex drag, and CiticaG handle and drag star. The bearings and the drag made for a nicer performing reel to me, it was worth it.
