:'( Not sure how the fishing was for the several other tournaments going on Saturday on Caddo but it went from hot to cold for me from what I did on Tuesday. Noticed the water temps had dropped at least 6 degress in areas I fished. Started up with two bites immediately as it got light and lost a under on a soft bite and pulled one in after that. I thought it was going to be on all day :) Only caught one other slot and my backseater tossed in a caught the fished I missed and that's all he did for the day. Mostly just stayed in Jeems all day. Saw plenty of boats but not too many people catching fish :-\. I think the weather was a big game changer for most. Several nice fish caught in our club tourney but I didnt stay around for the complete weigh in before the bottom dropped on the front. The biggest I saw was around 5.5lbs and maybe a couple of people might of had limits.
What club are you in? Me and my dad caught 5 (3 under, 1 slot, and 1 over). Had a good one break my line. other than that, really slow
I fished the hawgherders tourney and it was tough for me aswell. Caught a over on the 3rd cast. Then it went south from there. Caught three unders and three slots. One club member had one pushing 10lbs. Our next one is on BB Hosston. Hopefully we will do better!
I just spoke with Steve Gibson about starting a club. The one me and my dad just joined doesnt have anything to do with ALBC. Yall wouldnt happen to have an opening would ya?!

Hawgherders is with ALBC. It's a great club. Always looking for good members.
Yeah I fished Caddo with Hawgherders as well Saturday. I had to leave early because my guest had something come up. I did fish until 2 though and had.....absolutely zero bites. It was a terrible day for me, I threw everything at them. :surrender: I was basically a donation to the winner, lol. Hopefully next month I can do a little better. :'(
I'd like to get some more information on that if you don't mind. How do I go about doing so?

All you gotta do to join the club is fish one event with a existing club member. You will only be fishing for big bass on this event but you CAN weigh in a limit and get your points. Once that has been accomplished there will be a e-mail vote for voting you in. Once your voted in. Your dad could fish with you as a guest and repeat the process. I'm not sure on how much club dues are and what it cost to be a ALBC member. It's $25 each tourney. We usually have 20+ attend each tourney.
If your interested in joining. Ill be glad to answer anymore questions you got. My # is 548 4593
Fished the Hawgherders tourney as well. Caught one slot just shy of 18", and my guest caught two fish and both were over 4 lbs. Had he not been fishing as a guest he would have been 2nd place. Unfortunately, we figured them out too late in the game. We had several bites throughout the day, but the fish weren't eating it, by the time you set the hook, they had spit it.
My good friend and his partner finished 4th in the H&W tourney w/ 23lbs and change. They has a 8.4lber for their big bass and a four pound average for the other four. All of their fish came in deeper water. Lot has changed in just a weeks time. 10days ago i caught a couple 7lbers in 1.5ft of water along with many other good fish.

Fisher- hey did you have to go work?? I sent you several messages Thurs-Fri as I thought we were still fishing the Hawg Herders tourney together. I ended up catching 5 males for 5.44lbs. All the big females we saw swimming around Wed def backed off... :-( water temp had dropped 8* up in Jeems.

I sent you a message Friday morning at 9:09am saying I had to work but didn't receive a message from you... Not sure what's going on. Sorry you didn't get it
Well dang it I am sorry but didn't get it. Am a charter member so shouldn't have been my inbox being full. Keep it pretty low anyways. Sucks you had to work. :-(.
I guess my partner really thinks I caught the fish he missed ???. I even quit fishing for a while, took a nap, and ate lunch so he would have a chance in catching some more lo. Fished Hawg Herders Sat. on Caddo. The best fish I saw were crappie hanging on yo yos. Some really big ones. In fact I released one that would have wieghed close to 2 lbs if not more. I released my bass because I was fishing as a guest this time instead of a regular member. Aytway looking forward to Wright Patt in May. 8)

He can't do that. The only way he'll get his fish weighed now is to bring them to the scales in that bag! lo
Y'all didn't like the bag?? I thought it brought out the color of my eyes.
