Title: Irondequoit and Sodus Bays
Post by: Oldfart9999 on May 22, 2013, 01:51:51 PM
Monday I got out on my home waters of Irondeqouit Bay off Lake Ontario with a friend of mine. Water was 65-68 degrees. I caught a perch, several Rock Bass and a couple of small largies, my friend caught a small largie, slow day. Got out on Sodus bay this AM for a while with another friend, we were looking for Rock Bass. We got into them at most of the areas we tried in about 4 to 8 feet of water, one areathey were in 10 to 15, the temp was about 64. We also got into the large mouth in about 2 to 5 five feet of water, they were in the 2-21/2 lb class, fun on medium tackle for rockies.

Thanks for the report.

Question....do you have a "Catch and Release" season for Bass down in your area?
