Title: Where is every one heading for opening day of Bass in NY?
Post by: Baron49 on June 11, 2013, 08:23:04 AM
With the early opener of June 15th for bass where is everyone heading out for the first day of the season?

Around my area here on the east end of Lake Ontario, Chaumont Bay, and the St. Lawrence River they have huge bass derbies that will have all the local public ramps filled up and anyone who has something that will float will be on the water.

Thinking I might head to a smaller less fished lake for the weekend to stay out of the main stream traffic.  There are dozens of small lakes within a hours drive of Watertown.  What is everyone else doing?

Sorry to be late Baron, I've been a bit busy, I had a tournament on Port Bay Saturday.

Still hard for me to get over that your season is just opening. First it was closed, that's weird in it's self and then to be so late in opening.

I know it's about he short growing seasons and a way to regulate the population in the bass fisheries but it's still weird :surrender:

Thanks for the report Rodney  ~c~
