As we all know bass fishing is most definitely a way of life for most of us. We take it very seriously and we love new info on our favourite topic how's the bass biting. Now I can't tell you haw they are biting in the US. but in SA. it summer and it's post spawn . All juicy fat females have laid their eggs and are hungry . Dispite all the females losing weight there is reports on 16.4lb bass coming up and I'm catching 4-8lb averages per fish . But still have 1 or 2 lakes only giving me small 1-2lb bass and other lakes testing my skill and knowledge on bass fishing. All together its a awesome summer in SA. Spinners and chatters as my main arsenal and watermelon super flukes on a texen reg as a backup for the les active fish I rarely need to chande my lures and techniques. Ps. I'll post some detailed pics of this weekends fishing trip coming up
Sounds like a lot of fun!!! Here in the U.S. We are looking at the fall bite with winter just around the corner :'(

that's the bad news...the good news is they're feedin' up and will soon be in their best condition of the year...
love the SA reports by the way...great to see those 'exotics' gaining a following!
Thanks guys you guys have to make a plan and spend your winter in Sunny South Africa you will definitely feel like your a celebrity I SA. We have a awesome tourism industry and anyone coming to SA for the first time will love the hospitality of the locals and the fishing will be good but temperatures getting up to 120 those who come from the colder parts of the US will think its to hot
