Title: What prop? Johnson 40
Post by: West6550 on October 20, 2014, 10:06:26 PM
Hey guys just got home with a "new to me" boat and the prop is in rough shape for sure!

The boat is a mod v 15' Alumacraft Superhawk aluminum boat.

Engine is a 2002 Johnson Bombardier 40 horse 2 stroke (J40PLSNF)

I want a "runaround" type prop, such a small boat so I am sure it will get on plane okay.  I want to get a stainless steel prop if possible.  Any ideas?

Evinrude offers a direct replacement stainless prop called the SSP designed as an all around prop for runabouts. It is offered in 13, 15 and 17 Pitch. So if your current prop is a 15 Pitch, then you would replace it with the 15 P SSP prop. Contact your local Evinrude dealer. For a list of local dealers go to www.shop.evinrude.com and type in your zip code under the find dealer tab.

Awesome thanks man.  I have done quite a bit of looking on the internet to no avail.  Thanks again.
