Title: Bass boat deck extensions

Does any one know where or how to get a deck insert for my boat?  I am looking for one of those flipping deck inserts.  Help!!

It is a 92 Champion 18' 6"  any help would be great thanks.

I built my own to fit perfectly and also match the carpet. All you need is a half sheet of 3/4" plywood a couple 2x4's some carpet , glue and a staple gun. Make a template of your space you want to fill and cut out 1/4 inch smaller than you need to allow for the carpet. Then measure your height and make a frame out of 2x4's so that you are level with the rest of the deck. It can be removed for more floor space by just lifting it out.

Gotstafish.....I got a friend that did his 16ft Jon boat that way it looks nice to..he made a deck in the front and one in the back....if you didn't know it...... you would think it came that way...he did a great job.......

if you do as GotstaFish  and topcat say I would use marina grade lumber in it. it resist water better and that is what I used when I replaced the desk in my boat.

I did that to my 16' flat too. I sure miss that boat.  :'(
