Lake level is on the rise. Went 4 times in April and caught fish every time. Water temp now 69 degrees. Drop shot rig with senko has been effective, also chatterbaits
Thanks for the report. With those water temps bass fishing should be wide open on days that a front hasn't just moved through :-* which can be hard to time in the spring.

Agreed. We got another 4 inches of rain in the Metro last night. More fore casted for the rest of the week.
Elmer Thomas is now full. Water temp 68.7 degrees. Caught a 4.2 LMB among others on a finesse worm today after the storm.

Thanks for the report and nice Bass.
Trying to get my grandkids out on the water this weekend - has anyone tried to catch Bluegill out there on Elmer - I know the bass can be good, but these are little guys - if so where would be a good spot to try - we put in on the North Ramp -

Sorry, didn't see this post until today. Personally, I've never pursued the bluegill in ET, but there is good populations of them. I eat sunflower seeds when fishing and the bluegill come up and hit the shells quite frequently. Should be easy pickins form the little ones with a small popper, small worms under a bobber, etc.
