Title: Falcon HO rods?
Post by: 3crows on October 03, 2015, 08:06:40 PM
I will throw in another post and if it is already covered  ~read, well, I saw in Academy Made in China Falcom HO rods.  ::). They were priced at $69 and looked really nice with full cork handles. Of course, not to be ethnocentric, I have nothing against legit companies making product in their own plants but I hate spec products manufactured in China (saying this as I type on a Mac computer at least made in an Apple plant in China).

So, I bought the three Falcon rods fairly recently because they are made down the road from me, felt like I was pumping up the local economy! So, I do not mind them having a lower price point China rod, just hope this is not the end of their USA made product lines which I was really enjoying owning.

And, please, I do not mean this to be controversal, just a heads up that there are now Falcon HO rods, look nice, good price, made in China though :/.

I believe that you are referring to the Falcon HD rods.  They have been around for some time, they were added to the Falcon line of Rods as and entry level rod using good components at a price that could compete with other Mfg's imported entry level rods.

lo, yes, sorry for the misspelling. I had not seen them at Academy before but they could have been there all along. And, yes, indeed, I am factually, dyslexic.

Thanks for the correction sincerely.
