Title: Update: Question about prop sizes
Post by: tengland24 on February 11, 2017, 12:45:16 AM
I currently have a new 2017 Triton Trx19 with a 200HP Mercury Optimax. I'm running a 24 tempest plus at 3 1/2 prop to pad height. The hole shot is great but my top speed is 66 mph loaded by myself turning 5500 rpms. I'm thinking about trying a 24 fury??? Would this help out my top speed or is there another prop I should try?

Update: I adjusted the throttle bolt on the back my hotfoot and now I'm getting maximum performance out of my 200. After doing some research, I noticed that the dealership never made the right adjustment prior to my purchase. With 3/4 tank of fuel by myself I was turning 5750 rpms and top speed of 67.8 mph gps. Now that I got the rpms up does anyone thing a 24 Fury might help out on top speed?
