Hey everyone! I'm just looking to see if anyone has experience around the Kunsan area here in Korea. Also checking to see if anyone is still in the area and wanna meet up to fish some time. It seems we are few and far between here.

Bassinkorea will be able to answer your questions about bass fishing in South Korea. Best wishes on your fishing. You in the Air Force or Army?

Hi there itchingbassfever.
Glad to hear you are enjoying the Korean food and beverage culture, lol.
There is a nice lake in the centre of Kunsan city, not far from the base. I fished there several times a few years ago. There are a lot of small bass in there, so for numbers of fish you should have a blast. I am sure there are bigger fish in there, but I just never found them. It has been several years since I fished the lake, so not sure how it's fishing these days.
The time of the year is great though, this month and next are good times for fishing here, before the vegetation gets too heavy.
Good luck with it ~cf
I'd like to move this thread to the International Bass Fishing (http://www.ultimatebass.com/bass-fishing-forum/index.php?board=462.0) board, if that's ok with you.
in the center of gunsan ok. and yea that's fine with me. Thank you for the info on that spot.
