Looking at this boat, it has an Evinrude 150 HO Etec
24v trolling motor.
Small Lowrances on console/bow.
Hot Foot.
Garage kept, less than 100 hours.
14K
I think it sounds good to me.
Any reason not to check this one out?
Now you are talking. Better go look at this one. Don't waste too much time, it could go quickly. Hope it checks out. I think you will be very happy with this boat.
285 Pro XL is sweet. ~c~ I own one. ;D
Be thorough checking things out just the same. You should be able to test drive on the water, have a shop download the history from the motor, check the lower unit for water in the oil.
Even if the boat is pristine, a motor in need of repair can be a sour pill to swallow after dropping the $$ to buy it.
X2 on the 285 Pro xl, I have an 07, love the ride, have upgraded my electronics, definitely have the motor checked, price sounds about right

I believe I read somewhere that the 285 Pro was Stratos' most popular boat ever.
A couple years ago after my motor blew up, I was contemplating buying another boat and found a nice one at Greene's Marine. Called Andy to set up a test ride and he let me know that it had just been sold moments before. I just did not move fast enough. Otherwise I probably would have been a proud owner of a 285XL too. I have driven several of that model and was always impressed by it's on water performance.

When you get the chance post those pictures over in the Stratos Boat section. Take the time to introduce yourself to the rest of the Stratos and Javelin Family.
Beautiful boat, love that color scheme.
I had a 09 294xl with a Evinrude 200 HO and loved it! Enjoy!!
Mounted a Humminbird Helix 10 SI Mega at the console this weekend.
Ran the power wire up to the bow for when I get another unit for up front.
Replaced a faulty bilge pump that drained my battery, bilge pump light was always on even when switch was off.
Installed a keg guard.
Installed a keel guard.
Took it out for the first time, started instantly and ran great all day.
Water was a little rough, only trimmed it up enough to hit around 55 mph...
The boat did hit 68 with 3 people on board when I trialed it.
