Title: Kickin Bass
Post by: kickinbass on April 11, 2017, 05:58:21 PM
Got out again last Saturday and had a blast. Boated 18 bass. Water was very murky due to all the rain we have had lately. The bass seem to be fattening up. I only caught 1 bass that was less then 16 inches long. Most were 17 inches or better and the biggest was 19-1/2 inches long. . Had problems with camera but did take one with my cell phone. Thanks for the tips kicknbass! Going out there Friday....Saturday looks a little rough! Been 10 years  since I got out there, should be fun! Except for when your all the way in the back and that south wind kicks up!!

Wow!!! Couldn't believe how much willow slough has changed! The last few miles on state line road use to be gravel....nice asphalt now! Use to have to check in at office!! No more! The main channel in the back use to have tall cover all around it !! Non existent any more. Until I found the drain pipe and the canal I was jacked up! Once I found the canal stuck a nice one. Working the channel back we started tying into some decent fish. 3 of us we had about 18-20. 7 or 8 were small! But had some nice ones. Thanks again! I'll be back soon!!

Thanks for the report and sounds like it's changed a lot since I was over there last time.
