Title: Help finding parts for Mercury outboard

Hello all, new guy here.

Just bought an 87 or 88 bass tracker pro16 with a 35hp outboard. Having trouble finding parts and ID'ing the motor. The serial number stamped on the plate is 54935.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

You'll have to Google Mercury 35 hp parts and check your way through them. Be sure the serial number is correct parts vary a little. I had the same boat from 1986 with a 35 it was a good little motor.

European marine.com. I know they're out of South Carolina though. Asked to speak to Don or Rhonda. If this Mercury they can guarantee help
