TCTC brings the UBCS trophy back north.
Dang...nothing but crickets in here. I hope the UBCS isn't as boring and quiet as the smack talk.
Oh well, back to work. ~gator
You know them Lock Jaw boys are getting older now and have to get their beauty rest. I think Jared is keeping them away from the forum so they don't get butt hurt before the tournament even starts ~roflmao
In that case I'm glad we are using Sam Miguel launch. Lots of hand rails and small steps for the LJ folks.
Now I feel bad. I don't want get the geriatrics all riled up. With that said, do they have to take out their lock jaw and soak it at night? Maybe a name change is in order...perhaps the GUMMER BASS CLUB.
Really don't need to smack talk after that ass whoopin we put on yall last year. The results did all the talking. lo I will say it is kind of strange Zuk hasn't been by talking crap.

You sure are stuck on last year :-\ I think if you add up the true black and blue beat downs Lock Jaw is the master of reception. Ain't no one that can take a beating like Lock Jaw, I guess it's all the practice you have.
You gotta stay on top of the wave while you can Mike. I figured by now yall done hired guides and have been burning fuel trying to find anything that can some way compete with us. Probably wont work but hey we will give yall an A for effort. ;D
I so look forward to this thread every year. The trash talk is second to none.
A little trash Video to back up the trash talk.

At 11:03 in the video you will hear Mike say the words that are all to sweet to our ears. Bow bitch bow. ~roflmao
That's a pretty good video. First time I saw it. Lockjaw has been quiet because they are taking all our statues down. We're just going to have to whip some Yankee ass and get some more hardware to replace it. LOCKJAW!

~roflmao yep cause that Toledo Bend wave has a way of catching up and breaking your boat in half!!!
Lock Jaw, I just want to say we love each and everyone of you! I wanted to get that on record because I fear for your lives. This is a summer tournament this year ( you can't hide on the bank ) and that means open water fishing. Your redneck bathtubs may not get you out and back safely. Please wear your life jackets and tell Jimmy to wear two...
Oh and you'll have to update your reels, the 1902 stuff you're using won't reach the bottom on those off shore fish. Since you don't have boat payments on your rafts with weedeaters you should stop by BPS and get some of them fancy smancy $39 Extremes, they'll work just fine. If you stop at a willow tree on the way to the lake to up grade your rods, don't be lazy this time reach deep into the tree and get something at least an inch in diameter. Those deep bass get big!
I'll bring some baits for you, and just like last year I'll even tell you where to fish them ~shade
Jared make sure you sit your club down and explain how dangerous big water is. Explain that when the grass cutter quits working they can't just step in the water and walk home. It would probably be a good idea to get a map out and have everyone mark on it where they are fishing. (remind them they won't see the mark when they get there so it's still secret) We all know that it's easy for your club to get lost with all those boat roads confusing them with signs and all. You might want to get them all a burner phone and plug your number in it so they only have to hit one button to call you when they are in trouble. You know like last year, when the boat disentagrates on the way to the hot GPS coordinates I gave you all...
Again we love you but this year we are concerned it might be too much for ya'll. One last thing, please send everyone to tornado identification school. I don't know if your boys are brave or uneducated, probably the later. But anyone that will sit in the middle of a lake and worry about which direction the train is coming from needs to learn to look UP!

~roflmao ~roflmao ~roflmao Good one Mike.
I must say the smack talk is weak this year! Seeing Mike work so hard on trying to ruffle some feathers is awesome. Speaking of Ol' Corkie, he has announced his retirement, after all the blood, sweat & tears... All the stitches, staples and reconstructive sugeries... Its gonna be nice seeing you walk normal again. I would like to say Congrats to Russ, Your the 2017 UBCS Pivot Man!
P.S. Sorry Gullo you lost again!

It's kind of funny you said that, we never had to go look for you. And Ol' Foggy was always willing to hold the flashlight, I can still hear Foggy saying " Just tap out Mike" but you hung in there til the last drop.
Mike in lieu of your recent retirement from all of us here at Lock Jaw we would like to dedicate this song to you:

Damn Zuk you just gave Mike a new Nickname. We can call him Folgers.
Y'all tag teaming me I don't have a prayer against dem Cajuns... where's the TCTC crew?
Dude they stuck you out. lo

Hell, I started this thread two weeks ago and it was only Mike and I posting anything. I hope you Lockjaw boys aren't that late to weigh-in.
Hey Zuk, don't worry I got TCTCs back...you can have my front.
Michelle has been wondering if ya'll are actually southern boys. The last couple UBCS events you've spelled all your small words correct and there wasn't any late night hoopla.
As for filling shoes, Neal Armstrong was still getting it done in his 70s. Plus, I'm heading back north this November...just in time to kill a monster buck.
I don't know what to say about Gullo. Every club has that "special" guy that people don't talk about.
My broken in half boat is an easy ass target, ;D hell I joke about it daily. This year Lockjaw is gonna give TCTC the full 5 1/2 inches not just the tip though. Apparently the fish don't care who is in a Legend or other high dollar boats. We could beat y'all bank fishing with Zebco 33s. TCTC can't even mess with cooking either they had to get Jimmy they cook for them this year their game is weak.
Yeah I got two possums and a coon in the freezer! Gonna make a good gambalaya! ~shhh

Correct again, them fish want to "ride with a Legend" too. Think about it this way. Two of the last five Classic champions drove a Legend.

Thank you for the offer of the coloring book, but I donated all my crayons to TCTC last year so they would have something to use to write their names on their name tags so no one gets confused. :-\

Yes you can fish it by just being a UB member. If you choose to fish it, you will be a part of the club with less members to even things out. Hope you can make it.

This tourney started over a decade ago between TCTC from the Shreveport area and Lockjaw from the Kinder area. We had in mind at first that more clubs might get in, but it has stayed just in between our clubs for the most part. Numerous guests have joined in and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. There are a Club trophy, team trophies, and big bass pots but no real payout to individual teams. It is more for comraderie, competition, and eating/drinking. It is my favorite thing to do every year.
Looks like the weather should be good for this one. The lake is at full pool so it should make for an interesting tournament. I don't think I have ever seen Toledo Bend at 172 in June. :shocking:
Who's going to be there Wednesday night?
We will be getting there Thursday morning.

And Jimmy Volunteered to cook for us several times throughout the year. We figured it would only be right and SAFE ~c~ to allow Jimmy the opportunity to cook so we can keep him from running people over in his new boat. ~roflmao

Going buy the food today.
Sadly we won't be there until mid-day Friday. Not much pre-fishing if any. Can't decide if I want to start drinking right away or pre-fishing. Life is full of hard choices huh.
Changed oil in truck last night, lowered the outboard on a friends boat and went shopping for UBCS breakfast/lunch meals.
Learned my new coils for boat will be here today, so got to install them this evening, hook up the RV to power to get things cooled down and load up a few other things up.
Heading out in morning with Steve.
I look forward to my vacation every year. See ya'll soon.
