Title: Fishing not catching
Post by: Kayankee on February 24, 2018, 04:47:35 PM
I was visiting Dad in Fla and took the time to fish the neighborhood ponds. I tied on a KVD 1.0 square bill crank bait. I hooked up on the third cast and proceeded to catch fish for 5 hours on it. I fished it the second day and literally did not have a tap, I caught on other things but tried the crank bait over and over all day, not a touch, I laughed all evening. Same ponds same conditions same time of day. It always stays interesting😂😂

Yep. Been there and done that. I think if we are honest most of the members here will admit to it. We all know the old saying "you should never fish history" but we do it anyway.  ~b~

Anglers are a funny bunch of people.  :)

We all do it and my  best cure is to fish some where different all the time. Now about throwing the same lure and color is my biggest down fall. I have the same eight rods with only about ten choices of lures, several different colors but always go to the last ones that caught fish.  ~b~

At least you caught some fish. ~c~ ~c~ Smallie and zippy are right we all are guilty of that but at least you had enough sense to use something else. lo lo

Maybe they learned eating the lure from the day before would get them caught.
