Title: 0ver 60 for my best 5
Post by: coldfront on March 25, 2018, 06:59:42 AM
spent yesterday tossing cranks (bandit 300's) down on the river looking for smallies.  not a sniff.

did get quite a few drum to play though.  good size.  and man, you should have seen the ones that followed and 'sharked' at the boat.  (nose to bait, but turned away at last second before the bait came out of the water)

would have preferred to catch my target species, but appreciate the guys who did come out to play.

don't think I had any that went over 15 pounds.

recovering from just about dislocating my elbow a few weeks back.  it was 'talking to me' a little bit on the ride home.

I might be the only guy on here who routinely posts up photos of drum caught out on the TN rivers.  great fish!  Just not at tournament time.
