Good luck to you, snapper. I spent 6 days at Old Hickory for the Champion tourney and had a great time. I hope you do too.

where did you fish at on old hjickory? it's one of my favorite lakes. I used to live just a few miles from the dam.

grand lake is going to be a blast, my father in-law is coming down from Nashville, Tn to fish it w/me. it's going to be a tough tourney though. their saying that there will be over 500 boats fishing the tourney, so it'll be interesting. It's all about just getting to fish and the comraderie with people who have the same passion as I do. I would like to place in the money, but even if I don't catch a fish, I've still had fun.I just hope I can beat my brother in-law, so I don't have to listen to him gloat untill the next one.

We caught most of our fish in a litte bay where the boy scout camp is. There was a little wooden pirate ship there. The point is real rocky and there is good wood cover in the bay. The back of the cove at the marina produced good too.

I know that area well, my favorite place on old hickory is up by the gallatin steam plant anywhere. and also around stewarts ferry, good fishin there.
