Title: Lake Erie walleye and PIB bass
Post by: zippyduck on July 15, 2019, 02:21:14 PM
Spent the last three day at camp and fished a lot I mean a lot. Bass in the mornings and one evening. walleye on the other two evenings

Just saying but an amateur could clean up one the walleye right now. I put out stickbaits and caught a limit both evenings on every set up form boards to dipsys. I used bayrats and reef runners in flashy colors in the sun and dark colors in cloudy and night fishing.

Bass fishing was hit and miss. never could put together a pattern but would get a couple in an area then nothing else.
Caught them on cranks on the riprap. Buzzbaits, frogs, and under spins in and above the grass. Never got a tick on a jig.

I was on vacation last week also and was able to get on the lake five days and limited all five. It is as easy as I've ever seen it and I worked as a first mate on guide boats for years.
