Title: A day out
Post by: Oldfart9999 on August 05, 2019, 05:46:09 AM
Last Friday I hit Irondiquoit Bay, my home waters, for the first time this year, the water is still more than 2 feet above normal spring level, that'll be true of all the big lake and it's bays. It was a slow day for a friend and I, we finally had to break out the drop shot outfits to get bit. Grand total for the day; 5 bass, 1 rock bass, I took lunker with a 13 incher and dink with an 8 incher, I also took most species with the rocky.
My wife and I spent 4 days near Henderson Harbor last week, I was told the small-mouth are on fire, along with the large-mouth, Sodus Bay is supposed to be a hot bite also.
