Title: Wilhelm August 18
Post by: zippyduck on August 18, 2019, 04:03:18 PM
Fished a lot of the lake with little to show for it. We started the day in the stump field with not so much as a nibble. we got to the upper bridge and I landed a 19" 2lb 12 oz bass.
no more bites till we got back out to past the 79 bridges and my partner lost a decent one. no more bites there so we headed towards the dam where we caught 2 more little ones .
Left the water around 3 with the heat really building up.

Water temp upper 70's
air temp started at 70 and went to 86
Water was very stained

Fish were caught on a 1/4 oz. black Nutech jig with a Doc irv  black Kodiak craw

My partner caught his on a black and blue Strike king jig and a rage craw trailer and one on a tequila sunrise 6" worm

Wilhelm seems to be fishing tough this summer. YRBA had a tournament there this weekend and a lot of guys said the same thing.
