Title: A day out
Post by: Oldfart9999 on August 22, 2019, 05:50:59 PM
Hit my home water Tuesday, so far the few times I've been out to say it's been tough would be an understatement. All I've managed is 1 skunk and the other times just a couple of small fish each time, Tuesday was no different. The good news was I think I may have figured something out, it's going to be an early morning meaning dawn or a late evening bite tight to cover. I think it's just beginning to change but it's going to take time. The first pic, taken 12 days ago, shows the water still about 21/2 feet above spring level. 2 years ago when we had record flooding the same thing happened. The fish is the largest I've caught here this year, I'm hoping it turns around soon.
