Title: Georgia Trophy Bass Angler Award Program
Post by: mygreenihc on September 26, 2019, 05:07:44 PM
Have you landed a trophy bass this year? You may be eligible for a free replica mount of your fish as part of Georgia DNR's Angler Awards program. This program seeks to collect genetics and growth data from the heaviest largemouth bass in order to guide management decisions.

Successful anglers will also receive a certificate, hat, t-shirt, and entry into a grand prize drawing at end of the year, 2 passes to the Go Fish Education Center, and their photo shared on WRD Social Media.

A link to the rules and eligibility are below.

That's a great program Brad. Kind of like the Texas Share Lunker program. I wish every state had something like this.

I agree Smallie,  I was not aware that Georgia had this program.  When I ran across it I thought I would post it.  Kind of cool to have this in place,  not that I will ever get to use it....
