Hey Fella:I am soon to be purchasing a 12 ft. Aluminum Tracker Cartopper. I have a 45# Min Kota Endura that I will be using as my primary motor( I fish smaller water) and would like a recommendation on a deep discharge battery for It.I was a Everstart fan,but they do not hold up like they used to.
Thanks
I use Walmart Deep Cycle Marine Batteries. I've not had any issues with them and they've been lasting me between 4 -5 yrs.
Thanks The Everstart are the WalMart Battieries and the last one I bought went dead after one summers use ,Might have been a bad one or someone told me it might have been the charger . I will get another one when the time comes and see what happens
I'm a Deka/Duracell fan myself. Deka has been one of the best marine batteries for many years. The Duracell at Sam's Club is a Deka. I'm running 3 Duracell group 31's two of which run my TM and just completed year number 5 and still going strong. I may replace them in the Spring but probably not because I have to.
I use the walmart ones, only reason is...when that little red light is on at 3AM and not the green one, they are open for a replacement! :-*
I used to use Walmart exclusively, mainly for the same reason as Lee. While I rarely ever had an issue (can only remember one) their warranty is awesome and they are open 24/7...
No I use the Sam's brand, just because I switch one day for what ever reason and they have lasted.
Thanks, I am going to call it a bad battery,he only one I got from WalMart Soon 2 more WalMart group 27's will be in the Shed AND I SEE THAT OI POSTED THIS IN THE WRONG PLACE SORRY!
