Concord, NH – The public boat launch servicing Willand Pond located in Dover, New Hampshire will be closed until the end of the day on Wednesday, April 22. The closure is due to paving improvements made to the boat launch's overall access and parking lot. Both the boat ramp and the parking area will be closed, and the launch of electric or non-motorized cartop or trailered boats, kayaks, and other hulls is also suspended.

The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department's Statewide Public Boat Access Program is funded through boat registration fees, which are combined as match dollars with federal Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration funds to facilitate boat access opportunities in the state. Fish and Game's Facilities Construction and Lands Division acquires land for public water access sites, refurbishes existing sites, and builds new public boat access areas.
