Title: Won't Plane Out
Post by: Brush Hawg on July 23, 2020, 02:38:52 PM
So my 2013 Nitro Z6 delaminated in 2016.  Nitro told me they took the top cap off and put it on a new hull.  The boat used to get on plane easy with two big guys and a full livewell.  Since they sent it back if the livewell is 3/4 full it won't get on plane. I have added a manual jackplate and a hydrofoil.  It has the 115 Pro XS which is the heaviest motor the Coast Guard allows on that boat.  Any suggestions on what to do?  I have most of the weight at the front of the boat.  I am getting tired of asking my tournament partner to get on the front deck so we can get on plane.  I guess I could try a four blade prop.  I don't care about top end speed, I am just tired of this crap.
