Title: Zodias ML/G applications
Post by: Ajack48 on January 22, 2021, 02:26:58 PM
Recently a buddy of mine sold me one of his rods at a price I couldn't refuse. He never used it so it's in great shape, but I just have no clue what to do with it. I'm guessing shallow crank baits from surface-2ft. I've seen a review say it's great for jigging but I find that hard to believe when holding the rod in my hand.

Lure rating is 3/16-3/4
Line rating is #8-16
7' ML/G with moderate action

I have a Daiwa fuego 8:1 reel that I'm not doing anything with at the moment and figured I'd pair it with the zodias until I find a better match. Or should I just throw my Slx Dc on so they don't touch  lo

If memory serves thats a glass rod correct ?  Sounds like a good 1.5 squarebill rod or smaller like the OSP Bltz.  I think your on the right track with your thoughts but I'd also try a flatside like the ol' flat A or 6th sense flat 75. sosunds like a fun rod.
