Anyone know if the spool bearing pin is a common size with different brands of bait casters. Also where can you purchase just the pins? Would like to have a few spares on hand.

You should be able to get them from the manufacturer.

For the most part one will fit all. Lews is good about providing a few. But Daiwa or Shimano both can get them for you.

I got a bunch straight from Lews. They fit any Doyo reel. Also got a few from Tackle Trap for Daiwas.
